Lindy Booth Lined Up for New Hero in 'Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall'
As Jim Carrey is being courted to play The Colonel in Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall, more cast members are being lined up for the comic book sequel. This time THR has another member of the superhero team Justice Forever with Dawn of the Dead and Cry_Wolf star Lindy Booth in talks to play Night Bitch. The character is yet another superhero (with no actual powers) inspired by Kick-Ass (Aaron Johnson) and his vigilante crusade against crime. Driven by the murder of her sister, she helps Justice Forever bring down a human trafficking organization with a long pole in hand as her weapon of choice, along with a sexy costume.
Booth joins the ranks of Donald Faison as Dr. Gravity, Robert Emms as Insect Man and hopefully Carrey as The Colonel (Colonel Stars in the comic) as the new team who joins forces with Kick-Ass and Hit Girl (Chloe Moretz). Just how many more heroes will join the ranks of Justice Forever before filming begins in September? We'll have to wait and see, but the team will have their hands full as Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse), who is supposed to become the villain Motherfucker, gathers a team of supervillains to take them on. Jeff Wadlow (who worked with Booth on Cry_Wolf) directs the sequel hitting theaters in 2013.
