Lionsgate's 'Texas Chainsaw 3D' Revs Up its First Theatrical Trailer

It happened before. It's happening again. Lionsgate has unveiled the first full trailer for Texas Chainsaw 3D (sans Massacre), the new remake/reboot/redo of the Texas Chainsaw series. This new Texas Chainsaw stars a cast of very attractive actors/actresses, lead by Alexandra Daddario, Scott Eastwood, Tania Raymonde and Bill Moseley. It looks like an expected fresh new take on the series, with a lot more sparks flying and angry 3D chainsaw action, but does that mean it's going to be any good? Decades after a mob was believed to have killed every last member of the murderous Sawyer family, hundreds of miles away from the original massacre, a young woman named Heather (Alexanda Daddario) learns that she has inherited a Texas estate from a grandmother she never knew she had. After embarking on a road trip with friends to uncover her roots, she finds she is the sole owner of a lavish, isolated Victorian mansion, but true horror awaits them in the dark cellars of the residence. Tania Raymonde, Trey Songz, Scott Eastwood and more also star in John Luessenhop's Texas Chainsaw 3D arriving January 4th, 2013.

I see nothing new with this one AT ALL... -Dumb young people in a van going where they dont belong. -Cliche Johnny Cash song for intro -Potheads -The one black guy yeep...nothing new at all.

this movie looks stupid

Nothing new or fresh. In fact, this literally has some of the same scenes from the first REMAKE! jesus h murphy. this is so un-fresh its exhausting. why cant there be an ugly person in the group too? Do people in horror movies only hang out with the hottest sluttiest women? and for some reason they all love to be topless. What world is this? Cause I wanna live there....oh wait i forgot, everyone in this world gets murdered. BOOOOOOOOOO!

  It's a mainstream horror movie, so the filmmakers have to balance out the ugliness with an attractive cast.

Where the hell was Bill Moseley in this? I love the man, but I wish he wasn't a part of it. Guess I wouldn't mind seeing him reprise some Chop Top though. I just went on IMDB, and according to that he's playing the role Jim Siedow played in the original two, which could be interesting.

It looks cheaply done,it seems that all they care about is the 3D aspect. They need to bring something to the horror genera that we haven't seen. I also thought that I seen leatherface dressed as a woman, thats stupid. Then when you seee leatherface, he is skinny, thats different from the 1974 version. But I love the franchise, and I still hope it's great.
