A Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays from Everyone at FirstShowing

Joyeux Noel! Gledelig Jul! Froehliche Weihnachten! Mele Kalikimaka! From all of us at FirstShowing.net, we want to wish every one our readers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holidays! Whether you're with your family or with friends or whether it's snowing or sunny, we hope you have a wonderful week. For those that follow the tradition of seeing a movie on Christmas Day, I hope we've been able to steer you in the right direction. I'm planning on catching Django Unchained because there's nothing better than a Tarantino Christmas. News and trailers always slow down during the holidays, but we'll be back at full speed by 2013.

While there's The Hobbit, Django Unchained and Les Mis as the big players this Christmas, next year we've already got some intriguing movies on the holiday docket. Opening on Christmas Day in 2013 are: Carl Rinsch's 47 Ronin, a samurai action epic starring Keanu Reeves; Kenneth Branagh's Jack Ryan, starring Chris Pine as the iconic Tom Clancy character; and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, directed by and starring Ben Stiller. We hope everyone has a fun, relaxing holiday break in the meantime. Merry Christmas!
