Rupert Wyatt & Charlize Theron Developing Sci-Fi Project 'Agent 13'

Charlize Theron

Purely based on these two names, I'm intrigued. I've come to love Rupert Wyatt after Rise of the Planet of the Apes, not only as a rising director to watch, but someone who makes fantastic films that I totally love. Additionally, Charlize Theron has been on quite a tear recently, after Young Adult last year, she's set to destroy in Ridley Scott's Prometheus this summer and Rupert Sanders' Snow White and the Huntsman, and at some point Mad Max: Fury Road. Variety says these two are packaged together on a new science fiction project being shopped around Hollywood called Agent 13, that has all of the major studios in heat over it.

While Agent 13 seems like a good project to keep an eye on, it's one of those that is being kept very secretive for now, no plot details at all - besides that it's a "sci-fi action pic" featuring a screenplay by T.S. Nowlin (Wild Guns). What gives?! No logline, or concept, or anything? She's the 13th agent of what? I'm sure we'll find out soon, as this is just the start of coverage on this. But obviously they've caught my interest, with that title and these two names, I'm certainly curious, and will be on the lookout. Apparently talent agency WME is shopping around the package with Wyatt and Theron attached, so "most of the major studios are pursuing the project, including Sony, Warner Bros/Legendary Pictures, Paramount, Universal and 20th Century Fox."

Why did you say most major studios? That's all of them. Disney don't count. They only make feature length commercials for their merchandise.
