Sleek TV Spot for Sam Mendes' 'Skyfall' Teases a Train Action Scene

"007 reporting for duty." While we're still waiting for that IMAX exclusive trailer for Skyfall to arrive online, or the full theatrical trailer, a new TV spot just debuted during the Olympics Opening Ceremony tonight. James Bond, being played by Daniel Craig, was already part of the Olympics, escorting the Queen in a fun video segment, tying all of this together. The new 30 second TV spot for the Sam Mendes-directed 23rd Bond film does feature new footage we haven't seen yet, including a brief glimpse of the awesome-looking train + backhoe action sequence, which is shown more in the IMAX exclusive trailer. Great TV spot!

Skyfall is being directed by Sam Mendes (American Beauty, Road to Perdition, Jarhead, Revolutionary Road, Away We Go), from a script by John Logan, Neal Purvis and Robert Wade. Skyfall will once again star Daniel Craig as James Bond 007, along with Javier Bardem, Dame Judi Dench as M, Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney, Naomie Harris, Bérénice Marlohe, Helen McCrory, Ola Rapace with Ben Whishaw. You can also follow the official twitter @007 for updates as well, they've been tweeting photos and more. Columbia Pictures, Eon Productions and MGM have Skyfall set to hit US theaters on November 9th this fall. We'll continue to keep you updated on all things Bond. I am guessing Sony is waiting until next Friday when Total Recall comes out, to show their full length trailer for Skyfall. I can't wait for both Bourne Legacy and Skyfall.

Say what you want, Craig looks good in a suit, considering how short he is. Its like a perfect ad for see, this is what a tailored suit looks like. Men take notice! (if you buying J crew off the shelves crap) But yes, looks great! cannot wait!

a lot of shots of bond walking directly toward or away from the camera, it's a bit 'erm', other than that it looks good, hopefully we continue to see an evolution of the character and the Broccoli's keep the cheese out of it
