Last weekend, Ted took the #1 spot at the box office with $54 million in its first weekend, the second highest opening for an R-rated comedy. If you haven't been convinced to see the film yet, the trailers don't even have half of the best stuff that's in the movie, including some of the great cameos and jokes, including an appearance by jazzy singer Norah Jones. She even crafted a song for the film that sets the stage for the friendship between Ted (Seth MacFarlane) and Mark Wahlberg. Now a music video has emerged that's basically the funny opening credit sequence with her song Everybody Needs a Best Friend accompanying.
Here's the Ted centric music video for Norah Jones' song Everybody Needs a Best Friend via Vulture:
A story centered on John (Wahlberg) and his teddy bear, who comes to life as a result of a childhood wish.
"Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane brings his boundary-pushing brand of humor to the big screen for the first time as writer, director and voice star of Ted. In this original new comedy, he tells the story of John Bennett, a grown man who must deal with the cherished teddy bear (created with computer animation) who came to life as the result of a wish and has refused to leave his side. Patrick Warburton, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel McHale, Laura Vandervoort and more also star in this. Ted hit theaters everywhere on June 29th.
