On this week's episode of The Golden Briefcase, Tim and Jeremy are joined by guest Alan Cerny aka "Nordling" from Ain't It Cool News to go over their latest Picks of the Week, talk through the new trailers for Seth McFarlane's comedy Ted featuring a CG teddy bear and Len Wiseman's Total Recall remake and plenty more. The main topic of the night was a discussion on the classic high school comedy in honor of American Reunion coming out this upcoming weekend. The guys talk about some of the favorites of the genre, the various themes present in them and talk about what truly makes this genre timeless. Listen in!

High School movies! One of my favorite subgenres. Great show. One of the nicest guests ever, just seems like a really sweet guy. Glad you mentioned some of my favorites like Mean Girls and Superbad and all the 80s films. I'm also a fan of Fired Up (same director that did Easy A). Love everything Francis and Sofia Coppola have done in terms of HS-flicks. Diablo Cody! I know you said not to say who you forgot, but Diablo Cody is one of the most important voices today in the field and she has done only that for now, so.. but excellent job I'm also glad you liked We Bought A Zoo, thought I really liked Elle Fanning in that one Can't wait for the next TGB episode..!
