GOLDEN BRIEFCASE
TGB Episode 118: The Frat Pack Brand (Guest: Writer Brian Truitt)
by Tim Buel
July 26, 2012
On this week's episode of The Golden Briefcase, Tim & Jeremy are joined by Brian Truitt from USA Today/Weekend to go through their latest Picks of the Week, the newest in DVD & Blu-Ray releases, new trailers for Mr. Oizo's Wrong and Zack Snyder's Man of Steel and also talk a bit about WB's decision to move Gangster Squad in response to the Aurora massacre. The main topic of the night was a discussion on the filmography of the Frat Pack, in honor of Akiva Schaffer's The Watch hitting theaters. The guys talk about the various members, their work and how they relate to other groups like The Rat Pack or Brat Pack.
The Golden Briefcase is also broadcast LIVE on Wednesday nights starting ~7:30PM PST. You can listen in via our Ustream page or by visiting our own live page right here on FS. The podcast is just as fun to listen to live while it's being recorded, with plenty of special guests, so I suggest you tune in the next time it records!
