Despite the fact that the movie still has no official title, the casting department of Fast & Furious 6 have had the pedal to the metal over the past few months. Gina Carano has joined the mix, Michelle Rodriguez is reprising her role as Letty, Luke Evans is taking over as the main villain, and Clara Paget is adding some blonde to the proceedings as a gunslinger with unclear allegiances. Now the movie has another jolt of badassery, as Variety reports that Joe Taslim, who played Sgt. Jaka in The Raid: Redemption, a stellar action film hitting Blu-Ray/DVD on August 14th next month, is also coming along for the ride. More below.

Up until now, we haven't really known much about the plot other than Paul Walker and Vin Diesel's crew would be heading overseas to London with Dwayne Johnson and his team hot on their trail. Variety provided a nugget of info, saying that our group of loveable anti-heroes will be working on a heist that Evans' rival crew has already staked out. I like what director Justin Lin and his writers are doing here, making things a bit more complex than just "you run, I'll chase you" like this series has been known to do before. The introduction of a new gang should be pretty badass, especially with the bone-crunching Taslim in the mix as a cold-blooded killer who uses his martial arts and parkour skills to provide problems for Walker, Diesel, and company. Filming began today in London, and a release is set for May 24th, 2013.

Im tired of these movies. Dont get me wrong i liked them all (except part 2), but i felt the last one ended it well had it not been for that extra scene at the end it was a fitting finale to a solid series. Time to make something else dont you think?

Joe is a judo specialist, and he speaks english fluently, so this is a good thing, he'll have a very sucessful career in the US. I wonder does this movie takes place before Tokyo Drift?I'm a bit confused on which order these movies are supposed to be in...
