Todd Phillips, Wes Anderson & More Audition to Direct New 'Star Wars'

Even though producer Frank Marshall says the director shortlist for Star Wars: Episode VII is down to only two names, it seems a few more directors are (comically) throwing their names in for consideration. We've already seen entries from Kevin Smith, Woody Allen, and Michael Moore, but now Conan O'Brien and his late night crew have created a few new parody "audition" tapes from Todd Phillips, whose take looks very much like The Hangover, Wes Anderson, who gives his version a bit of Rushmore flair, and an infamous horror director that has something terrifying in store for those Ewoks. Watch them all below!

Yes, it's a cheap gag, but I laughed a little when I saw R2-D2 spewing in the toilet. And can we talk about how awesome that guy's Luke Wilson impression is in the Wes Anderson audition? Wilson should hire that guy to do voiceovers in his place if he ever gets sick. And while many die-hard Star Wars fans despise the Ewoks in Return of the Jedi, I don't think anyone wishes Tom Six's brutal Human Centipede treatment for the furry little guys. Any other director suggestions you'd like to see in Conan's next batch of auditions?
