It's already big news that Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone will reunite again after their ass-kicking in The Expendables 2, and now the cast of the action thriller The Tomb has rounded out its supporting cast. Variety has word that director Mikael Hafstrom has landed Vincent D'Onofrio, Vinnie Jones and Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson to star in the film that will see Stallone as an expert on structural security who is framed and put in a high-security prison of his own design. Then he must put his skills to the test to find out who put him there. However, we're not sure what role Schwarzenegger plays in all of this yet.
In addition Amy Ryan has been cast as the female lead as Stallone's business partner and potential love interest. Meanwhile, D'Onofrio will play the deputy director of the Prisons Bureau who convinces Stallone to take one last job before he retires. Jones is a bit more villainous with his role as a ruthless guard with no moral compass who enjoys making life difficult for Stallone in the slammer. Is it a good bet that Jackson will play a tough prisoner? With his build and intimidating demeanor, it just makes sense. Hopefully it turns out better than his more recent action thriller endeavors which were so good that I don't even remember their titles. Here's hoping Schwarzenegger and Stallone still have some of that 80's/90's action magic.
