Snow White and the Huntsman

Sure seeing the newest footage from big blockbusters is pretty great, especially on the big screen (such as the case with The Amazing Spider-Man showing six-minutes of footage before IMAX 3D screenings of Men in Black 3), but sometimes audiences want to dive a little deeper into the film. Sometimes featurettes and promotional videos do that just fine, but Universal has gone the extra mile to toss out a new interactive trailer for Snow White and the Huntsman, which rehashes the most recent trailer, but when you hover over the video, it has links to photo galleries, clips, featurettes and facts about the film. Check it out below!

Here's the interactive trailer for Rupert Sanders' Snow White and the Huntsman from Yahoo:

In this new epic action-adventure Snow White and the Huntsman, Kristen Stewart plays the only person in the land fairer than the Evil Queen Ravenna (Theron) out to destroy her. But what the wicked ruler never imagined is that the young woman threatening her reign has been training in the art of war with a huntsman (Hemsworth) who was dispatched to kill her. Actors Eddie Izzard, Ray Winstone, Bob Hoskins, Toby Jones, Stephen Graham, Eddie Marsan and Ian McShane play dwarfs. This is being directed by Rupert Sanders, an acclaimed commercials director making his feature debut. Arrives in theaters on June 1st this summer.

Looks so awesome, took RIDICULOUS liberties with some creative decisions...and they look like they hit it right on the money. Go Team Snow!?!? lol

Ayotunde Afolabi on May 23, 2012

I know. They took a huge risk and it seems to have paid off.

Xerxexx on May 23, 2012

As opposed to the "Mirror Mirror" where it's much less likely...

CookieMonster on May 24, 2012

That movie was...different.

Xerxexx on May 24, 2012

ok, I think I may just have to pay money to see it.

Movie was crazy different...literally polar opposites. True, both took creative risks...but Singh's version took the techicolour/Burton/Disney-on-crack route. And it obviously didn't work.

Music in the trailer reminds me alot of the Inception trailer music. movie looks surprisingly good, will check it out

I am one to usually complain about long trailers.. But in this case, at 2:44mins, I am glad I got to see the entire movie so I can be spared from having to see the rest of it. Theron gotta eat !
