Watch: A Sniper Terrorizes Residents in Dark 'Tower Block' Trailer

"This isn't just some random attack!" Kaboom. It's time for some Tower Block. A trailer has debuted for the UK film Tower Block, a dark action-thriller about a sniper taking out the lingering residents of a tower block. A year after witnessing a murder, residents of Tower Block 31 find themselves being picked off by a sniper, pitting those lucky enough to be alive into a battle for survival. Almost sounds like a tossed out Die Hard pitch. The cast includes Sheridan Smith, Jack O'Connell, Ralph Brown & Russell Tovey. This is premeiring at Fantastic Fest, and Twitch via SlashFilm has the first trailer, which doesn't look that bad.

A year after witnessing a murder, the last tenants of deteriorating, soon-to-be-demolished Tower Block 31 must band together to survive when a killer with a sniper rifle starts picking them off right in their flats.

Tower Block is directed by newcomer British filmmakers James Nunn & Ronnie Thompson, making their feature directorial debut. The screenplay was written by James Moran, also credited on Halloween: H33 and the other UK zany horror comedy Cockneys vs Zombies. The film is premiering at Fantastic Fest this month, and is still looking for US distribution, though it'll hit UK theaters this month. Anyone into this?
