Watch: Adorable 7-Year Old Batman Thwarts The Joker & The Riddler

Sure this summer will have audiences thrilled to see Batman fighting crime in The Dark Knight Rises, but somehow I have a feeling this video might be a little bit more rewarding on a certain level. It's not directed by Christopher Nolan, but it's one of the most touching things I've seen in a long time. The Daily What (via Movies.com) featured a report about an amazing feat by the people at the Texas-based nonprofit A Wish with Wings who made a 7-year old cancer patient's wish to fight crime as the Caped Crusdaer become a reality. Police and fire departments were on hand as Batman fought The Joker and The Riddler.

The 7-year old Kye, suffering from leukemia, was fully suited as Batman and not only stopped a bank robbery by The Joker, but he also prevented a bomb from going off at City Hall, all planned by The Riddler. As you can see in the video, it looks like he had a bit of help from Robin and a pink-clad Batgirl as well. It's bittersweet that a young boy like this has been plagued with such a fate, but heartwarming that so many people worked together to make his wish come true.
