Watch: Another New Official Trailer for 'Cabin in the Woods' Revealed

"The lambs have come to the killing floor." Lionsgate has just revealed another new 60-second long trailer via FEARnet for their long-awaited, incredibly delayed horror-comedy extravaganza, The Cabin in the Woods, co-written & produced by Joss Whedon, co-written & directed by Drew Goddard. This looks great, but they're starting to reveal a bit too much, though most won't know what it all means. The cast includes Chris Hemsworth, looking much younger, Jesse Williams, Kristen Connolly, Anna Hutchison and Fran Kranz, with Bradley Whitford and Richard Jenkins thrown in there somewhere, too. The Cabin in the Woods is the feature directorial debut of Whedon protege Drew Goddard, screenwriter of Cloverfield and Robopocalypse, as well as work on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", "Alias" and "Lost" for J.J. Abrams. The original screenplay was co-written by Joss Whedon ("Buffy", "Angel", "Firefly", Serenity, The Avengers) & Drew Goddard. This was originally shot in early 2009, but is just now, finally, getting a release from Lionsgate. Cabin in the Woods is scheduled to hit theaters on April 13th, 2012 this spring. You in?

it looks a little ridiculous to me as far as the five being "locked in" by an invisible energy field. and then there is the cheesy line : "the lambs have come to the killing floor"....big LOL i just can't imagine this story having a great payoff.......i might check it out as a rent; but, i won't be putting it at the top of my queue any time soon.

  Movie is hysterical. Payoff? Very rental worthy. Matinee at best. Rental at worst. Should be viewed at least once just for sh*ts and grins.

    i hear ya! with all the hype on it i'll definitely check it out for a rent. however, (in my opinion) from what i've seen in the trailers, i'm still not anxious to see it.......hopefully it surprises me in a good way.

      Go in with low/no expectations and it should be alright. Won't blow your mind but Jenkins and Whitford alone make it worthwhile for most of it.

        no problem there - i've never been impressed with anything i've seen in the trailers nor do i put stock in reviews......the only reason i'm giving it a look is that most people seem to think it's worth a one-time watch.....so, i'll give it a go(rent).

I think it looks pretty cool. Alex wrote this as a horror-comedy. I haven't gotten that impression. Nevertheless, looking forward to this.

Just watched this movie last night with my Girl and this was the worst movie since "Disaster Movie" . Was not funny and Interesting I never fell asleep but I was dozing off!!! Garbage=The Cabin in the Woods.
