Who's on First

Well, this year Billy Crystal is really phoning it in with the terrible family comedy Parental Guidance that also stars Bette Midler and Marisa Tomei. The film is so desperate for attention that the trailers used holiday themes fonts and colors to try and fool people into thinking it's a Christmas movie. Thankfully, Crystal is redeeming himself a little bit with an appearance he made on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon." Reaching back into classic sketch comedy, Crystal and Fallon reenacted Abbott and Costello's classic Who's on First? with help from Jerry Seinfeld and Steve Higgins. It's way better than Parental Guidance.

Here's Who's on First with Billy Crystal, Jimmy Fallon, Jerry Seinfeld and Steve Higgins from NBC:

And here's the original short with the infamous comedy duo of Abbott & Costello, found on YouTube:

This is classic comedy at its best, and this clip makes me wish that Crystal would get back to making good movies like When Harry Met Sally, City Slickers and other such films with great laughs and iconic moments from decades passed. Though Fallon has never been one of my favorite comedians, he always has a lot of fun with the guests on his late night talks show. Plus, it's always nice when Seinfeld comes out of hiding for some fun. However, it only seems to happen on NBC. Is he ever going to make another movie, or TV show?

This was actually a very good rendition of the sketch, but I don't like Fallon. He's so dry to me.

Agreed. I much prefer the original, but this was great as well.

There wasn't that many lines, did Fallon need a teleprompter? It was annoying to watch. Otherwise, great skit. Still think the first one is better. But at least we have this for all time.
