Watch: Crazy Awesome 'Looper' As a Retro 16-Bit Video Game Trailer
"We both know how this has to go down." The gaming/tech world has one-upped the movie world again. There's awesome fan-made viral video called simply Looper The Movie The 8 Bit Game going around. They use footage and ideas from Rian Johnson's Looper to create an 16-bit classic retro video game version, as we've seen done before. But all the details creator Deepak Chetty puts into this are fantastic, and it's both amusing and well-made. Chetty explains: "Made this while waiting for other renders to go through... Hopefully this is a start of a series of cinema games that never existed." Excellent way to start off the week!

In 2072, when the mob wants to get rid of someone, a target is sent 30 years into the past, where a hired gun awaits. Someone like Joe, who learns they want to "close the loop" by sending back Joe's future self.
Looper is the third film from Rian Johnson following his breakout hit Brick and The Brothers Bloom after that. Looper focuses on a mobster named Joe, played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The movie also stars Piper Perabo, Jeff Daniels and Paul Dano. Looper hits theaters everywhere starting on September 28th this fall.
