Watch: Exciting Extended First Look at Tom Hooper's 'Les Misérables'
"I dreamed a dream…" In what might be a deflection of the release date delay, Universal has premiered a fantastic extended first look featurette, running nearly 5-minutes, giving us a good behind-the-scenes look at the making of and impressive live singing in Les Miserables, directed by Tom Hooper. We all know Hugh Jackman stars in this musical as Jean Valjean, and he's featured prominently in this, along with Anne Hathaway as Fantine and Amanda Seyfried as Cosette, plus Eddie Redmayne as Marius. I love the huge, detailed sets Hooper made for this, and I love the epic, sweeping feel it has, everything about it seems tremendous and exciting. I'm very much looking forward to seeing this Christmas Day. Take a look!

The film also stars Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Helena Bonham Carter, Sacha Baron Cohen and Eddie Redmayne and will hit theaters everywhere on December 25th, Christmas Day, this winter.
