Watch: First Official TV Spot for Len Wiseman's 'Total Recall' Remake

Sony has released the first official 30-second TV spot hyping up another big sci-fi movie this summer, Total Recall, the remake directed by Len Wiseman starring his wife Kate Beckinsale and actor Colin Farrell as Doug Quaid. There isn't necessarily much new footage that we haven't seen before in the latest trailer, but I know a lot of people are excited for this, it looks badass, and this TV spot will keep that excitement up. What is real? What is recall?

Len Wiseman (Underworld, Live Free or Die Hard), is directing this Total Recall remake from a script by James Vanderbilt, Kurt Wimmer & Mark Bomback that is said to be more true to Philip K. Dick's original short story We Can Remember It For You Wholesale. The new story involves nation states Euromerica and New Shanghai, with Douglas Quaid (Farrell) a factory worker in the latter who begins to believe he is a spy, although he doesn’t know for which side. Bryan Cranston, Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel and John Cho also star in the film which is headed to theaters on August 3rd, 2012 towards the end of summer. Thoughts?

No I'm not excited. Paul Verhoven was juggernaut , he was fresh / genius / first class and with HEART . He was hot cool guy Len wiseman is cold cool guy. Underworld and die hard 4 was cold for me Len Wiseman is Another Paul W.S. Anderson Too Me. I think this remake was unnecessary , I expect see wiseman in original project or even something worth. First total recall had heart with weak special effect but this time I don't Wana remake with good special effect without heart I don't wait for this but I see it definitely and i am very interest in next without hear project of Len wiseman I am big fan of sifi even in bad sorts.

This looks wonderful and I can't wait. People have loved the extra footage shown at the Convention this weekend, and that just confirms it for me.
