Watch: Full Trailer for 'Hotel Transylvania' with Sandler and Samberg

Since their first big screen team up in That's My Boy doesn't seem to be faring to well, maybe having Adam Sandler and Andy Samberg in a family centric animated comedy will serve them better. That's what Sony Pictures Animation is hoping as they've just released their new trailer for Hotel Transylvania. The original teaser only set the stage for the hotel itself, but this new trailer finally keys us in to the relationship Dracula (Sandler) has with his daughter Mavis (Selena Gomez) and how their world is shaken when a human visitor (Samberg) opens her eyes to a world outside of Transylvania. I guess it could be fun. Watch!

Genndy Tartakovsky directs Hotel Transylvania with a script from Kevin Hageman, Dan Hageman and David I. Stern. The film follows Dracula (Adam Sandler) struggling to keep his daughter (Selena Gomez) from becoming obsessed with the world outside Hotel Transylvania when a normal human (Andy Samberg) stumbles upon this fancy resting place for monsters. David Spade, Kevin James, Steve Buscemi, Ceelo Green and Molly Shannon also lend their voices to the film in theaters in 3D on September 21st, 2012. Fun?

I'm not sure where all the Adam Sandler hate comes from... some of his more recent like Grown Ups and Zohan weren't the best, but I saw That's My Boy and honestly it really reminded me of the classics that everyone seems to like (Waterboy, Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison). Don't be so critical, lighten up, and enjoy his movies for what they are -- retardedly stupid comedies that somehow still make you laugh and remind you of when you were a kid and you probably loved his movies. Also, I hate when people write him off completely like they've never been surprised by a performance of his (Funny People, more importantly, Punch Drunk Love, anyone?). rant over.

  Actually, knowing what he is capable of as an actor from movies like Punch Drunk Love, Reign Over Me and Funny People just makes it all the worse for me when he shits out one of these absolutely terrible "comedies". He is so good when he is not going full retard and distances himself from that annoying, squealy herp derp voice! It seriously angers me to see him in stuff like Jack and Jill or That's My Boy. I just wanna grab him by the collar of his shirt, shake him violently and scream in his face "YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THIS, GODDAMN IT!"

Genndy helped F up Iron Man 2. Failed to end Samurai Jack. Sandler hasn't been fresh in ages. It's obvious that this film was made into an Adam Sandler film complete with his tired old gags. I'm putting this film right up there with Green Lantern. DOA.

  I see you failed to mention Genndy's great projects like Dexter's Laboratory, The Powerpuff Girls, or Star Wars: Clone Wars. I'll allow IM2 even though he was just doing storyboards. Samurai Jack's abrupt end was CN's fault, and if you haven't seen Sym-Bionic Titan, go watch it right now it was a great show 'til it was "benched" and then canceled by CN while they transitioned into becoming the snore-fest you see today. /rant tl;dr I still believe in Tartakovsky

  First of all, he did storyboards for ONE scene in Iron Man 2. The scene with Iron Man and War Machine taking down the Hammer drones. That's it. Second, he didn't fail to end Samurai Jack, it was out of his hands. It's like when you're buying a computer at a store and the associate is required by their job to ask if you want the protection plan or whatever. They don't want to do it, cause they know you don't want it, but what the boss says, unfortunately, goes. Third, this film had been off the ground and well on its way long before Genndy got anywhere near it. The script, probably vocal work, and most if not all of the character designs likely had no input from him. He's just trying to prove his mettle to his new employers. If this (unfortunately iffy looking) film does well, I'm sure Sony will let him do projects of his own design. I'm sure he'd push for a Samurai Jack film, which most everyone wants, but lest we forget, the character's owned by Cartoon Network, who fired Tartakovsky recently. Don't count on them being too cooperative. tl;dr The man's still one of the greatest visual storytellers of our time, just very unfortunate in being forced to work under people who fail to appreciate that fact.

I think Adam Sandler made this movie only to do his accent, I think he just loves doing that That being said I'm actually surprised I kinda want to see this, could be stupid fun laughs..
