Must Watch: Guillaume Panariello's 'They Come to Get Us' Music Video
Damn, this is an insane must watch! I was recently told to check out this fantastic music video directed by Guillaume Panariello for a song called "They Come to Get Us" by The Death Set, in high def on Vimeo. The video features Death Set, Johnny Siera and Dan Walker, leading an "army of pop culture icons through the streets of NYC." It gets really insane, and awesome, once you see the Raptor and the Enterprise grinding through the buildings. I love discovering up-and-coming filmmakers like this, like Guillaume, who have an incredibly fresh, wild, awesome style. I would love to see him make a feature, but first - you've got to see it.
The Death Set's "They Come to Get Us", from the album Michel Poiccard, music video was directed by Guillaume Panariello, a French filmmaker and designer. This was written and produced by Johnny Siera and Dan Walker. The drawings they used were by Julie Fabre, Charlotte Serrus and Guillaume Panariello, with Panariello also doing all the editing, special effects and post-production. For more info, you can visit Guillaume's official website or the site for The Death Set here. Even though it's just a music video, the style and cinematography shows promise, I'm very intrigued to see Panariello make more. What do you think?
