March 14, 2012
In just two days, Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill will bust into high school for the action comedy 21 Jump Street, and if the early buzz (and the red band trailer) is any indicator, we're all going to be laughing our asses off. However, the two stars of the film also know that they have a responsibility to keep their audience safe. That's why BAFTA nominee "Johnny Hills" and MTV Movie Award winner for Best Kiss "Shanice Tatem" wants to make sure no one goes "finger blasting" their friends' mouths after seeing a certain scene in the film. It's no laughing matter. Okay, it is pretty funny actually, so check it out right now!
Here's Jonah Hill & Channing Tatum warning us about finger blasting in 21 Jump Street via Collider:
An undercover police unit consisting of young looking officers (Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum) infiltrate high schools to control youth crime. Updated version of the classic late 80's TV show starring Johnny Depp.
21 Jump Street is co-directed by young filmmakers Phil Lord & Chris Miller, creators of "Clone High" and directors of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs before this. The screenplay was written by actors Jonah Hill and Michael Bacall (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Project X) based on the Fox TV show. Columbia Pictures is bringing 21 Jump Street to theaters everywhere starting March 16th, 2012 this year. Planning to see it?
