Watch: Latest 'Skyfall' Video Blog Takes Bond to Shanghai to Shoot
One of the most spectacular elements of James Bond films are the locations, the various places around the world they always actually go to shoot. This time a new video blog on 007.com for the upcoming Bond 23, Skyfall directed by Sam Mendes, shows them shooting in Shanghai, China, where Bond has traveled to tail someone. Daniel Craig returns as 007 once again, but he's barely seen in this, as the video focuses on the shoot, including interviews with First A.D. Michael Lerman and Second Unit Director Alexander Witt. That said, by the end of this it made me really want to visit Shanghai as well. But only if I was a spy, too.
Here's the latest video blog for Sam Mendes' 23rd Bond film Skyfall, in high def from 007.com:
Skyfall is being directed by Sam Mendes (American Beauty, Road to Perdition, Jarhead, Revolutionary Road, Away We Go), from a script by John Logan, Neal Purvis and Robert Wade. Helen McCrory and Ola Rapace will appear in Skyfall, joining previously announced stars Daniel Craig as James Bond 007, Javier Bardem, Dame Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney, Naomie Harris, Bérénice Marlohe, with Ben Whishaw. You can also follow the twitter @007 for updates as well, as they've been tweeting production photos and more info. Columbia Pictures already has Skyfall set to hit theaters on November 9th. We'll continue you to keep you updated on all things Bond, as it looks like 2012 will be a big year for Agent 007.
