Watch: New Footage in International Trailer for 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation'

G.I. Joe: Retaliation

As we're all well aware, there was no G.I. Joe: Retaliation this past summer because Paramount Pictures decided they wanted to convert the film to 3D and release it in March. That delay also allowed for some new scenes to better use the 3D element (or at least that's what Dwayne Johnson said), and maybe even incorporate some more Channing Tatum who originally died in the first ten minutes of the sequel. Now a new international trailer has popped up with the film's release just around the New Year, but there doesn't seem to be anymore Tatum yet. There's snippets of new footage, so I guess it's time to get excited again?

Here's the new international trailer for Jon M. Chu's G.I. Joe: Retaliation from YouTube:

G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation is being directed by Jon M. Chu (Step Up 2 & 3D, "The LXD", Justin Bieber: Never Say Never) from a script by Zombieland writers Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick. Channing Tatum returns as Duke, along with Ray Park as Snake Eyes and Lee Byung-hun as Storm Shadow. Other newcomers to the cast include Bruce Willis as General Joseph B. Colton, Adrianne Palicki as Lady Jaye, Ray Stevenson as Firefly, Joseph Mazzello as Mouse, Arnold Vosloo as Zartan, D.J. Cotrona as Flint, and RZA as the Blind Master. Paramount is planning to release G.I. Joe: Retaliation starting on March 29th, 2012 next spring.
