Harry Potter: Page to Screen

If you're one of those fans who had to spend hundreds of dollars on the Harry Potter Wizard's Collection set of every film on Blu-Ray (it's currently only $345 from Amazon) and a whole slew of bonus features, collectibles and an awesome holding case, then this new collectible is for you. To go along with that film set, Amazon also has a collector's edition of Harry Potter: Page to Screen: The Complete Filmmaking Journey that has a list price of $1,000 but is currently on sale for just $600. The set includes eight books, all designed to look like they came from the Hogwarts library book shelf, and containing extensive behind-the-scenes details from the various creative departments who worked on the epic 8-film franchise. Look!

Here's a trailer for Harry Potter: Page to Screen: The Complete Filmmaking Journey (via EW):

From the wardrobe to props and visual effects and production design, this has everything any Harry Potter fan or super cinephile would want to know about the making of the Harry Potter franchise. Six of the books contain all this making-of content, while a seventh book acts as a commemorative look at the relationships that grew between the cast and crew after working together for over a decade. Finally, the eighth book is for all those aspiring wizards out there: a scale replica of The Monster Book of Monsters that hopefully won't eat the rest of the books. The set goes on sale December 4th, but can be pre-ordered right now for the $600 pricetag. There's only 3,000 copies like this being sold, so act fast, Potterheads! Pretty cool?
