Savage

Though Cowboys & Aliens didn't pan out all that successfull, there's still Boy Scouts vs. Zombies in the works, and now a new film pitting two mythical creatures against each other is on the way. The Wrap has word that Outlier and Pathbender and working together to adapt the Shadowline/Image Comics graphic novel Savage. The supernatural thriller is drawn by X-Men artist Mike Mayhew and ends up pitting Bigfoot against a pack of werewolves. However, rather than just pitting the two monsters against each other for fun, there's a bit more of a story leading up to what would be quite a bloody fight to the death.

James Cotten (producer of the master piece Hansel & Gretel Get Baked) is attached to direct the film which follows a mysterious killer who is hunting down supernatural creatures While looking for a prodigy to continue his work, he finds himself in the midst of a battle between Bigfoot werewolves. This sounds like nothing more than a B-movie, but if done the right way, it could be some stupid fun. Mark Morgan (who produced The Twilight Saga) is involved, but hopefully these werewolves won't be like fashion models before they transform. We'll see what happens.
