Thor: The Dark World

"Every 5,000 years, the worlds align, allowing an ancient darkness to strike." Last night brought the second episode of Marvel's new TV series "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." and with it came a reference to the God of Thunder himself and his hammer. But other than that, a new one-minute TV spot arrived for Thor: The Dark World, this time featuring more of the destruction from the dark elves and some new action with Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Jane Foster (Natalie Portman). And for those who enjoy the humorous side, Kat Dennings gets an amusing exchange with our hero at the end. Watch!

Here's the new TV spot for Thor: The Dark World straight from Marvel:

And here's two shorter bonus TV spots that have been playing on the small screen as well:

In the aftermath of Marvel’s Thor and The Avengers, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) fights to restore order across the cosmos, but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith (Christopher Eccleston) returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin (Anthony Hopkins) and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all. Alan Taylor ("Game of Thrones") directs Thor: The Dark World which arrives in theaters on November 8th. What say you now?
