David Lowery's 'Ain't Them Bodies Saints' Aiming for August Release

Briefly: A release date has been set for one of our favorite breakout indie premieres of Sundance 2013, the feature directorial debut of filmmaker David Lowery, titled Ain't Them Bodies Saints. This riveting neo-noir western crime drama stars Rooney Mara and Casey Affleck as outlaws and lovers torn apart, as well as Ben Foster, Rami Malek & Nate Parker, and has the feel of Terrence Malick's Badlands. Fellow movie website Film.com posted on their twitter that distributor IFC Films, who first acquired this during the festival, will be releasing Ain't Them Bodies Saints starting August 16th. We also expect this to get a VOD & iTunes release in addition to a limited theatrical opening. We recommend it. Read Ethan's glowing review.
