Don't Watch: Painfully Unfunny First Trailer for 'A Haunted House 2'
Every now and then we need to be reminded just how terrible some movies can be, that way we're thankful for the really good ones. Today's reminder comes in the form of the unnecessary horror spoof sequel A Haunted House 2, the follow-up to last year's stupid, cheap A Haunted House starring Marlon Wayans and a bunch of comedians desperate for a paycheck. Wayans is back, but this time he has a new girlfriend with two kids. The official description says this film has "spine-tingling tension and hilarious punch-lines," and that couldn't be more of a lie. Watch this dumb trailer if you need the equivalent of a punch to the face.
Here's the first trailer for Michael Tiddes' A Haunted House 2 from Open Road Films:
A Haunted House 2 is directed by Michael Tiddes and written by Rick Alvarez and Marlon Wayans (both of White Chicks), who also stars in the spoof horror film taking aim at the latest genre hits. Malcolm (Wayans), after exorcising the demons of his ex, is starting fresh with his new girlfriend and her two children. After moving into their dream home, Malcolm is once again plagued by bizarre paranormal events. David Koechner, Andrew Daly, Nick Swardson also star in Open Road Films' sequel hitting March 28th, 2014.
