Even Bigger Vehicular Warfare: 'Fast & Furious 6' Gets IMAX Release

Briefly: Frankly, with all the outlandish action that we've seen in the Super Bowl spot, theatrical trailer and the extended online preview, we're surprised this wasn't already a done deal. IMAX has just announced that Universal Pictures will be sending their adrenaline-fueled sequel Fast & Furious 6 starring Vin Diesel and Paul Walker to IMAX screens around the world starting on May 22nd. We're not sure if that means the film is opening a full two days earlier in United States theaters, or if it just has a release date a little bit earlier overseas, but we'll be sure to update this post when we hear any further information or clarification.
