The Devil's Due

Though there may not be any found footage horror coming from Paranormal Activity this October, the spin-off Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones, will hit theaters on January 3rd, 2014. But it won't be the only found footage horror offering that month. 20th Century Fox has The Devil's Due coming, which takes a cue from Rosemary's Baby and follows a newlywed couple who find themselves dealing with a surprise pregnancy that may have more terrifying implications than originally thought. Zach Gilford ("Friday Night Lights") and Allison Miller ("Go On") star in the film and you can see the first trailer now.

Here's the first trailer for Tyler Gillett & Matt Bettinelli-Olpin The Devil's Due, originally from Yahoo:

After a mysterious, lost night on their honeymoon, a newlywed couple finds themselves dealing with an earlier-than-planned pregnancy. While recording everything for posterity, the husband begins to notice odd behavior in his wife that they initially write off to nerves, but, as the months pass, it becomes evident that the dark changes to her body and mind have a much more sinister origin. Zach Gilford, Allison Miller and Colin Walker star in the film directed by V/H/S segment directors Tyler Gillett & Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and new writers Lindsay Devlin & Zoe Green. 20th Century Fox releases The Devil's Due January 17th, 2014.

I don't understand how it could be an horror movie. And why do people think she is possessed by the demon? Dudes, she's just a regular pregnant woman. That's normal.
