Kirsten Dunst & Jason Sudeikis Are Totally 'Sleeping with Other People'
At Sundance in 2011, Kirsten Dunst went the raunchy comedy route with Bachelorette, a film produced by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay through their Gary Sanchez production banner with Leslye Headland directing. The film was an indie sensation on VOD, even if it didn't find a big theatrical audience. Now The Wrap reports Dunst, Headland and the Gary Sanchez team are reuniting for Sleeping with Other People, a new comedy that will throw "Saturday Night Live" veteran and Horrible Bosses star Jason Sudeikis into the mix just two months after the actor made his departure from the sketch series official.
The film will follow a good-natured womanizer (Sudeikis) who befriends a remorseful serial cheater (Dunst). Their platonic relationship reforms their chronic infidelity but sparks an inconvenient romantic attraction to each other. Is there such thing as a good-natured womanizer? Anyway, this sounds like an interesting pairing, and Dunst might have found a new niche in R-rated comedy if this film turns out to be anything along the comedic stylings of Bachelorette. The film didn't quite have the heart of Bridesmaids, which it was inevitable compared to, but it had some good comedy and writing. Sound good?
