Liam Neeson Takes to the Sky in First 'Non-Stop' Action Thriller Trailer
Following collaboration on the action thriller Unknown, surprise action star Liam Neeson reunites with director Jaume Collet-Serra for Non-Stop. But this time the danger lies 40,000 feet in the air as Neeson plays a U.S. Marshal tasked with negotiating a mutli-million dollar payment to an unknown terrorist or the passengers on his flight will be killed one by one every 20 minutes. It's a simple plot, and this could just as easily be called Taken on a Plane, but there might be enough originality here to make it a fun February release. We're mostly curious as to how this bad guy is killing people on the plane with nobody noticing.
Here's the first trailer for Jaume Collet-Serra's Non-Stop, originally from Apple:
Non-Stop is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (Unknown) and produced by Joel Silver, with a script from Christopher Roach and John W. Richardson ("Big Brother" co-executive producer and editor respectively). Liam Neeson plays U.S. Air Marshal Bill Marks on duty during a transatlantic flight from New York City to London. Suddenly, he receives a series of cryptic text messages demanding that he instruct the government to transfer $150 million into an off-shore account. Until he secures the money, a passenger on his flight will be killed every 20 minutes. Julianne Moore also stars in the film Universal releases on February 28, 2014.
