New 'Salinger' Trailer Shows Dark Side of 'Catcher in the Rye' Author
One of the revelations in Shane Salerno's documentary Salinger about reclusive Catcher in the Rye author J.D. Salinger has already been unveiled with news that five more books from the author will be published by his estate over the next few years. But there's still plenty of new information about the author revealed in the film that reporters aren't spoiling. This new trailer for the film, which starts hitting limited theaters today, shows the darker side of the author, including his anger and mysterious departure from publishing. There's also talk about his relationships with young women. It's all very fascinating. Watch it!
