Simon Pegg & Teresa Palmer Join Aussie Thriller 'Kill Me Three Times'
In case you didn't know, there's a third Hemsworth brother along with Thor star Chris Hemsworth and The Hunger Games supporting actor Liam Hemsworth. And now it's Luke Hemsworth who's poised to enter the spotlight with a crime thriller in his native land of Australia. Variety and Deadline have two separate reports revealing that Hemsworth is part of Kill Me Three Times, which will also feature Simon Pegg, Teresa Palmer, Alice Braga, Sullivan Stapleton, Bryan Brown and Callan Mulvey. The story follows Pegg as a professional assassin, hired to kill the singer wife (Braga) of a wealthy man (Mulvey).
Meanwhile, Stapleton is a gambling addict trying to pay off his debts through a life insurance scam thought up by Palmer’s small town character Lady Macbeth. Brown will play a corrupt cop and Hemsworth plays a surfer trying to save Braga from her would-be killer. But the film from Kriv Stenders, the man behind 2011's biggest Australian film Red Dog, will tell the story from three different points of view, so we're bound to see the same events unfold from different angles and characters. The film will be shot in Western Australia, and already has distribution down under, but we're hoping it will hit the US too.
