The only first look we've seen from Disney's animated movie Frozen, loosely based on Hans Christian Anderson's classic story The Snow Queen, involved some concept art. However, a couple character posters have surfaced for the fall release with our first glimpse of two full rendered computer animated characters. One has the magical queen Elsa (voiced by Broadway star Idina Menzel) and the other has her not-so-magical sister Anna (voiced by Kristen Bell). They're not amazing posters, and I'm more interested in seeing a teaser trailer sooner than later. But this looks very similar to Tangled, and hopefully just as good.
Photos removed at the request of Disney, as it was actually fake artwork "made from old character designs" and does not truly represent the film. Sorry!
Frozen, loosely based on Hans Christian Anderson's story "The Snow Queen," stars Broadway legend Idina Menzel as Elsa, a magical queen in self-imposed exile, and Kristen Bell as her sister Anna, who, along with a mountain man named Kristoff and his reindeer Sven, travels into the icy wilderness to find her sister and bring her home. Bobby Lopez (of Book of Mormon, Winnie the Pooh) and his wife Kristen wrote the music for Frozen, as this will be a return to the musical for Disney Animation. Tarzan and Surf's Up director Chris Buck is co-directing with Jennifer Lee. The film hits theaters in 3D November 27th, 2013.
