Watch: An American Legend Rises in New 'The Lone Ranger' Trailer
"Justice is what a man must take for himself." With just over one month to go until the Disney's The Lone Ranger finally hits theaters, a fourth theatrical trailer has surfaced showcasing some more great train robbery action and an increasingly heroic looking Armie Hammer. Is there a chance that Johnny Depp might not have to carry this film with Hammer in the lead? We're hoping this isn't another Alice in Wonderland situation where Depp is made to be the star (though the marketing has pushed that angle), but we'll just have to wait and see. Also, how many times will Helena Bonham Carter shoot that shoe gun?
Here's the new trailer for Disney's The Lone Ranger, originally from Apple:
"There come a time, Kimosabe... When good men must wear mask..." Never take off the mask. Any good?
The Lone Ranger is directed by Pirates of the Caribbean franchise helmer Gore Verbinski and written by Ted Elliot, Terry Rossio and Justin Haythe. Native American spirit warrior Tonto (Johnny Depp) recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Armie Hammer), a man of the law, into a legend of justice—taking the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction as the two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption. The Lone Ranger arrives on July 3rd.
