Watch: Ashton Kutcher Innovates in a New Upbeat Trailer for 'Jobs'

August 5, 2013

"Welcome to Apple Computers." After the first full trailer showed off pretty much the entire story arc of Steve Jobs in the appropriately named biopic Jobs from director Joshua Michel Stern, a new trailer is here full of critical acclaim, including a one-word pull-quote from our very own Alex Billington. This trailer uses Macklemore's chart-topping track Can't Hold Us, complete with a clever audio edit to fit with the presence of Macintosh personal computers, and the same cheesy but inspirational vibe that the entire film encompasses as it chronicles the highs and lows of Jobs' pursuit for technological innovation. Watch below!

Here's the second trailer for Joshua Michael Stern's Jobs, direct from the film's YouTube channel:

Jobs is directed by Joshua Michael Stern (Neverwas, Swing Vote) and written by Matt Whiteley and tells the true story of one of the greatest entrepreneurs in American history by chronicling the defining 30 years of Steve Jobs' life as he revolutionized the personal computer, founded Apple, introduced the world to the iPod and more. Ashton Kutcher plays Steve Jobs and the cast features Dermot Mulroney, J.K. Simmons, Lesley Ann Warren and more. The film premiered at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival, here is our review. Open Road Films will be releasing Jobs in limited theaters starting August 16th this year. Your thoughts?

Pirates of Silicon Valley (and Noah Wyle) did it better. Wozniak is the real genius of Apple.
