Watch: First Real Footage from Disney's 'Frozen' in Japanese Teaser
To initially tease their upcoming animated movie Frozen, Disney released a trailer with a goofy snowman and a reindeer, but no actual footage of the human characters or story. While we wait to see the theatrical trailer, a Japanese teaser has hit the web that finally shows footage of Anna (voiced by Kristen Bell in the US version) and Kristoff (voiced by Jonathan Groff) and a glimpse at the story. There's all kinds of crazy things in this, like a giant snow monster and that goofy snowman again, plus plenty of action and more. If you're really curious to see what Disney's Frozen looks, check it out. Hopefully a US trailer will follow soon.
Here's the new Japanese teaser trailer Disney Animation's Frozen, originally from YouTube:
Frozen, loosely based on Hans Christian Anderson's story "The Snow Queen," stars Broadway legend Idina Menzel as Elsa, a magical queen in self-imposed exile, and Kristen Bell as her sister Anna, who, along with a mountain man named Kristoff and his reindeer Sven, travels into the icy wilderness to find her sister and bring her home. Bobby Lopez (of Book of Mormon, Winnie the Pooh) and his wife Kristen wrote the music for Frozen, as this is a return to the musical for Disney Animation. Tarzan and Surf's Up director Chris Buck is co-directing with Jennifer Lee. Frozen hits theaters in 3D November 27th for Thanksgiving.
