Here's the first trailer for Joe Swanberg's All the Light in the Sky originally from Vimeo:

Joe Swanberg (V/H/S) directs All the Light in the Sky, which he co-wrote with Jane Adams ("Hung"), who plays a woman living in a house perched precariously on stilts above the beach in Malibu who clings to her life's ambitions in much the same way. With her age exempting her from more and more acting opportunities, her future is uncertain. That's when her young niece (Sophia Takal) comes for a weekend stay. The film captures their night conversations, fears and stories that emerge in the witching hours. Factory 25 picked up the film which played at AFI Fest in 2012, hits VOD on December 3rd, and will also be shown theatrically in New Jersey, Chicago, New York & Dallas. • I love movies like that.

I have loved Jane Adams since first seeing her as the doctor on Father of the Bride part 2. It was a smaller role, but she infused it with sensitivity and warmth.

She was great in Hung as well. It seems like every time I like a series that has lesser known actors, it gets canned. Alas, such is life.
  • Looks good, but another film about actors not acting or struggling with acting...
