Watch: Green Band 'Trance' Trailer with Less Blood, More Dubstep

March 20, 2013

The recent red band trailer for Trance showed off some pretty gruesome shots and elements of the new psychological thriller from Slumdog Millionaire, 127 Hours and Trainspotting director Danny Boyle. Now a new green band trailer is a bit more tame, but still shows off some of the impressive cinematography and intriguing story on display in the film that looks like a trippy version of Inception combined with The Thomas Crown Affair. Also, for fans of Boyle, you'll notice that this trailer finally throws the title Shallow Grave around with some dubstep. This looks like it could be one of the most interesting movies of the year.

Here's the green band third trailer for Danny Boyle's Trance, in high def from Apple:

An art auctioneer who has become mixed up with a group of criminals partners with a hypnotherapist in order to recover a lost painting. "It takes the idea of a stolen painting and develops into something sleeker and more psychological, with twists and turns." Trance is directed by Oscar winning British filmmaker Danny Boyle, of the films Trainspotting, The Beach, 28 Days Later, Sunshine, Slumdog Millionaire and 127 Hours previously. The screenplay was co-written by Joe Ahearne & John Hodge. Trance will be released in UK cinemas in March. Fox Searchlight will then open Trance in US theaters starting April 5th this spring.

  • I've been waiting for this one to be released online to watch. saw it during the midnight showing of Dead Man Down a few weeks back. It looks better and better after each trailer. I love how this one specifically names Boyle's 28 Days Later, Trainspotting, and Shallow Grave. His more darker movies.
