Watch: Jon Hamm & Larry David in HBO's Full 'Clear History' Trailer
Late last fall we shared intermittent updates on a new film from Superbad director Greg Mottola which was being put together at HBO Films. "Curb Your Enthusiasm" star Larry David was teaming up with "Mad Men" star Jon Hamm for a comedy that was said to be partially improvised. The film is called Clear History and it follows a marketing executive at a start-up electric car company, who, after a petty argument with his boss, gives up his 10 percent of the shares just before the company makes billions. Ten years later, he's changed his name and moved off the coast of Massachusetts to move on and enjoy life as best he can but his past just might catch up with him. Now the full trailer is here, and this looks pretty great!
Here's the full trailer for Greg Mottola's Clear History, originally from Entertainment Tonight:
Greg Mottola directs Clear History, written by Larry David, Alec Berg, David Mandel and Jeff Schaffer. Nathan Flomm (David) is a marketing executive at a start-up electric car company, who, after a petty argument with his boss (Jon Hamm), gives up his 10 percent of the shares. The company then goes on to make billions of dollars, leaving Nathan publicly humiliated, his life destroyed. Ten years later, he's changed his name and moved to a small island off the coast of Massachusetts. All is well until his boss shows up on the island, and threatens to reveal his embarrassing past. Michael Keaton, Bill Hader, Kate Hudson, Danny McBride and more also star in the film which premieres exclusively on HBO this summer on August 10th.
