47 Ronin Trailer

"Your life belongs to me." "Then take it… if you can!" Whoa! I'm the odd one out here, but I think this looks awesome, and the more we see for it, the better it gets. Universal has debuted another short UK trailer for Carl Rinsch's 47 Ronin, starring Keanu Reeves as an 18th century warrior who bands together with other samurais to avenge their master. We've already seen a couple of different trailers for this so far, but I love the way this one flows. The music, the scenes they show, the way it's edited, everything works well and it's a short but strong trailer for this movie. Though all the creatures look a bit funky, I'm still anxious to see this.

Here's the brand new UK trailer for Carl Rinsch's 47 Ronin, found on YouTube (via AICN):

A band of samurai set out to avenge their master's death and dishonor at the hands of a ruthless shogun.

47 Ronin is directed by Carl Rinsch (The Gift) and written by Chris Morgan (Fast Five, Fast & Furious 6) and Hossein Amini (Snow White & the Huntsman). The Story follows a group of 18th century warriors who aim to avenge their master's death. Keanu Reeves leads the film in his first big action role since concluding The Matrix trilogy, and he's surrounded by a Japanese cast including Hiroyuki Sanada, Kou Shibasaki, Tadanobu Asano and Rinko Kikuchi. Universal releases the film December 25th this year. Who's down?

Neither can rappers but they seem to keep pumping out movies. Leave the boy alone, hes done some good stuff in the past, plus hes had a rough history.

What rappers? That was like 10 years ago? Only a select few make it to films, even then its for select roles and every few years. Sad cop out!

That... thing wearing yellow looks like Voldemort when he was tied to the back of Professor Quirrell's head in the first film.

It sure does lol

I want to like it, but there's something not right with its look IMO. Comes across as a mash-up of The Last Samurai, 300, and now Harry Potter.

Steven on Oct 8, 2013

The movie should be called 300 Harry Samurai. Just saying.

This looks really good, will definitely see this. I saw Side-By-Side and Keanu Reeves comes off as a very intelligent, thoughtful and very centered person. The man can act, I guess the troll-noobs never saw Feeling Minnesota.

i'm sorry any meaningful point you were trying to make is completely disregarded when people use the word "troll-noobs"

I think it looks amaze-balls! Samurai and ancient legends, what's not to like?
