Fifty Shades of Grey

Every now and then, the cast of "Saturday Night Live" gets to show off their best impersonations with a sketch showing the audition tapes for certain topical films from the past, or new films that fans are buzzing about. Previous entries included the lost audition tapes for Star Wars when the special edition films came out, and now the Fifty Shades of Grey movie gets the same treatment with these faux auditions featuring spot-on impersonations of Christoph Waltz, Emma Stone, Jon Cryer, Jane Lynch, Aziz Ansari, Tracy Morgan, Tilda Swinton and more. Honestly, we'd pay to see versions of the film with these actors.

Here's the Fifty Shades of Grey audition tapes from "Saturday Night Live" via Hulu:

Some of the impersonations are a little flat like Bobby Moynihan as Seth Rogen, and others are just poorly utilized for visual effect like Aidy Bryant as Rebel Wilson. But most of them were hilarious and near-perfect. Coming from the second episode of the season, this shows great promise for the cast as they've begun a rebuilding season with six new cast members following the exit of Bill Hader, Fred Armisen and Jason Sudeikis last year, along with less recent departures like Andy Samberg and Kristen Wiig. As for the real Fifty Shades of Grey, Charlie Hunnam and Dakota Johnson bring it to life on August 1st, 2014, next year.

The only appropriate reaction to seeing Miley Cyrus do anything, is for one's skin to crawl uncontrollably until she is out of one's sight.

I believe Walt Jr said it best. "Why won't you just die already!"

I like most of this new cast. Or at least the people who were there last year. Taran, Bobby, Cecily, and Kate really stand out
