Now You See Me Trailer

"For our final trick we are going to rob a bank!" Summit's magicians have made a second full-length trailer for Now You See Me appear on Apple this afternoon, to keep the buzz going for this summer movie. Starring one hell of an ensemble cast, Now You See Me is about a group of magicians (or illusionists) who team up as the "Four Horsemen", robbing banks during their shows and raining money over the audience. Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, Woody Harrelson and Dave Franco star as the four, but it's Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman who steal the show, along with Mark Ruffalo and Mélanie Laurent, too.

Here's the second theatrical trailer for Louis Leterrier's Now You See Me, in high def from Apple:

Now You See Me, directed by Louis Leterrier (Transporter 1 & 2, Unleashed, Incredible Hulk, Clash of the Titans) from a screenplay by Ed Solomon and Boaz Yakin & Edward Ricourt, pits an elite FBI squad in a game of cat and mouse against "The Four Horsemen," a super-team of the world's greatest illusionists. The group pulls off a series of daring heists on corrupt business leaders during their performances, showering the stolen profits on their audiences while staying one step ahead of the law. It was shot on location in New York, Las Vegas and New Orleans. Summit will release Now You See Me starting on May 31st this summer.

Woodkid strikes again for trailer music!
    • Yea I've been listening to Woodkid ever since the Mood Indigo trailer (which had their song "I Love You"). They must have great marketing - have heard their unique sound in quite a few trailers this year so far.

Have you listened to his new album "The Golden Age" It sounds like it could be the score to a movie, it's really ochrestrial and sounds amazing.

good to see jesse and woody back together.
  • Magic is the work of the devil! I for one will be avoiding this.

      Ummmm, what?

it's just Carpola being Carpola.....we've all gotten used to him.

the devil is the work of god best avoid him as well

I'm getting a big advanced technology vibe from this. I hope that's not too distracting, so much so that it'll make the "magic" not look magical.

I don't know what to think of this yet. It looks cool, but some of the scenes in the preview makes me think it will be one of those films that's too unrealistic to buy into so it comes across as cheesy
  • All I have to say to this is "Yes!"

This looks like it could be a pretty solid movie. Great cast. Almost like a Prestige/Illustionist story (just not as great). However, this could be the first role Dave Franco doesn't portray a douchebag and I'll actually like him (then again, he wasn't so bad in 21 Jump)
Dave Franco plays a great douchebag.
    • DavideCoppola
Does he even have a line in this trailer?
      • DAVIDPD
That is how great his douchebag acting has become.

i say it's a time travel heist film
  • Looks to be an enjoyable film. Though weirdly I'm very excited to see Jesse Eisenberg in it.

It feels like there will definitely be a sci-fi spin in it, which would actually be pretty damn fun. Also, this has a great cast, loads of familiar faces.
  • I hope it's more con man movie than sci-fi.
    • Better than "super heroes" movies. We had too many Iron Man 1,2 and three, after having batman 1,2, and 3. Hope we won't have another superman movie again or Incredible Hulk. "Now you see me" gives us something new for a change.
      • I just don't want it to have a supernatural twist. They're illusions, a trick is something a whore does for money. Sorry, I have AD on the brain...
  • A ridonkulous amount of blue. But I actually quite like the premise, looks cool. Great cast, will hopefully be a good time.
  • DavideCoppola
Even though I love all the actors in this, the film just doesn't seem appealing to me..
  • not sure what to think about this. If not for the fantastic cast, I'd immediately have written it off

This is heavy on CGI the story might be ok, but I have a feeling too much cg is going to take away on the belivability of the thing.
  • Just the trailer, it impressed me. Can't wait to see it!
