Watch: The Cast of 'Pacific Rim' Messing Up & Having Fun in Gag Reel
The international box office hit Pacific Rim hits Blu-Ray and DVD next week, and a little treat from the home video release has just made its way online. While the film is a big fun blockbuster and has plenty of laughs to go with the gigantic sci-fi action, it's not a straight-up comedy. However, this gag reel shows cast members Charlie Hunnam, Charlie Day, Ron Perlman, Rinko Kikuchi, Idris Elba and others having a fun time on set, hamming it up for the camera, making mistakes during shooting, and all that normal outtake good stuff. Obviously, making a film like this is hard work, but it's nice to see they had fun.
Here's the fun gag/blooper reel from Guillermo del Toro's movie Pacific Rim, first found via io9:

Guillermo del Toro (Hellboy, Pan's Labyrinth) is directing Pacific Rim from a script by Travis Beacham. The film follows a washed up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi), who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger, a massive robot designed to fight legions of monstrous creatures known as Kaiju, which started rising from the sea years ago. They stand as mankind's last hope against the mounting apocalypse. The film also stars Idris Elba, Ron Perlman, Charlie Day and Clifton Collins Jr. Warner Bros will release Pacific Rim on Blu-Ray and DVD October 15th. Cool stuff?
