Watch: 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' New TV Spot Gets Somber
Last month, a new TV spot for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire popped up, using Coldplay's track "Atlas" from the film's soundtrack. Now another TV spot has appeared, this time with Christina Aguilera's track "We Remain" to paint a somber picture. While the previous trailers and TV spots have focused on the arena action and the vendetta President Snow (Donald Sutherland) has against Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence), this one focuses more on the relationships, including the love triangle our protagonist has with Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) and Gale (Liam Hemsworth). This looks like one hell of a sequel. Watch it!
Here's the new TV spot for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire from Subway:
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire begins as Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson). Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow (Donald Sutherland) prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games, a competition that could change Panem forever. Francis Lawrence directs the film written by Simon Beaufoy (Slumdog Millionaire) and Michael Arndt (Toy Story 3) arriving November 22nd this fall. See the trailer.
