Iron Man 3 TV Spot

"I'm here on a mission, fighting bad guys." Anyone curious to see how Disney is marketing Shane Black's Iron Man 3 to the younger crowds? Take a look at the new 30-second TV spot for Marvel's sequel, starring Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark and Don Cheadle as Rhodey, that aired during the Kids' Choice Awards this past weekend - on Nickelodeon, aimed at kids age 6 to 12, which seems a bit young. It focuses on the "saving good guys, defeating bad guys" angle, and features some great shots of what will eventually be hot toys - like the hulkbuster armor and armory line-up. Best of all, it still looks awesome anyway. Enjoy!

Here's the new TV spot for Marvel's Iron Man 3, aired during the Kids' Choice Awards, found via THR:

Iron Man 3 is directed by Shane Black (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) working from a script that he co-wrote with Drew Pearce. Actor Robert Downey Jr. returns as Tony Stark and Iron Man in this sequel described as a technological crisis thriller in the midst of international war, taking place after the events of The Avengers. Sir Ben Kinglsey is playing Iron Man's arch nemesis Mandarin and Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Dale Dickey, Ashley Hamilton, James Badge Dale and Jon Favreau all co-star in the Marvel Studios production. Disney is bringing Marvel's Iron Man 3 to theaters starting May 3rd this year.

You notice when they leave out all the elements of the unoriginal and tired plot this film has, the film looks ok?
  • Ray Harrihoussien
That is, it looks ok if you don't mind re-enforcing children's fascination with technologies of war

Id say there is already a 50% chance that if your born a straight male, your going to love military stuff. I used to draw stick figure wars back when I was like 8...doesnt anyone remember army men? O no thats the right the PC generation probably got rid of those...ugh
