Anna Kendrick Home for the Holidays in 'Happy Christmas' Trailer
It's going to be Christmas this summer with the release of the latest film from the hardest working independent filmmaker, Joe Swanberg. After premiering at the Sundance Film Festival, Happy Christmas is finally hitting theaters in July, and the first trailer has arrived, showing off the charming, funny holiday comedy. Anna Kendrick plays a twentysomething struggling with responsibility as she moves back home to live with her brother (Swanberg) and his aspiring novelist wife (Melanie Lynskey) and their adorable toddler boy. With Lena Dunham and Mark Webber co-starring, it's a delight. Watch!
Here's the first trailer for Joe Swanberg's Happy Christmas, originally from Apple:
Happy Christmas is written and directed by Joe Swanberg (Drinking Buddies) When Jenny (Anna Kendrick), a hard partying 20-something, moves in with Kelly (Melanie Lynskey), a budding novelist, her film director husband (Joe Swanberg) and their two-year-old son after a break up, the family’s idyllic life is shaken. Jenny begins a rocky relationship with their baby sitter (Mark Webber), and she and a friend, Carson (Lena Dunham), help Kelly realize that an evolution in her life, career and relationship is necessary to be happy. Magnolia Pictures releases the film on VOD June 26th and in limited theaters July 25th.
