Annette Bening, Ed Harris &Robin Williams in 'The Face of Love' Trailer
After premiering at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival, the second chance romance The Face of Love is coming to theaters this spring. With a plot that seems reminiscent of the mostly forgotten 2004 film P.S. starring Laura Linney and Topher Grace, the film follows a widow (Annette Bening) of five years who meets a man that appears to be her late husband (Ed Harris). From his looks to his personality, it's like falling in love with her husband all over again. But soon the secret she keeps about her deceased husband and concerned family make things complicated. Now the first trailer is here and it looks rather compelling. Robin Williams also has a small role in the film which could be a nice spring release. Watch the trailer!
Here's the first trailer for Arie Posin's The Face of Love from IFC Films:
Five years after the death of her husband Garrett (Ed Harris), Nikki (Annette Bening) meets a man who seems his exact duplicate. Romance blossoms between Nikki and this alluring doppelgänger, but she can’t bring herself to tell him the truth. So she hides her photos and prevents him from meeting friends and family. Still, she can’t resist taking him to all the old haunts. It isn’t a question of if the truth will come out, but when. Robin Williams also stars in The Face of Love, directed by Arie Posin from a script she co-wrote with Matthew McDuffie and IFC Films releases on VOD March 13th, and limited theaters on March 7th.
